Job Summary
Lead Maintenance Technician oversees all property maintenance operations, including corrective, preventative, routine, emergency, cosmetic, and make-ready tasks; skilled in HVAC, plumbing, and electrical systems to resolve complex issues and uphold property standards. Mentors the maintenance team, develops schedules and a make-ready program with the property manager, reviews work orders with 24–48 hour response targets, coordinates with vendors/contractors, ensures safe handling of equipment and supplies, and can be on call for after-hours emergencies. Focus is on maintaining safe, functional properties through preventive maintenance practices and effective supervision of staff.
Required Qualifications
- EPA or HVAC certification required
- Minimum of 2 years related experience
- CPO certification preferred
