Job Summary
Lead Maintenance Mechanic responsible for repairing and maintaining machinery and equipment including engines, motors, conveyors, pneumatic systems, and production gear; leads maintenance department, utilizes eMaint to assign tasks, ensures safe clean work environment, maintains parts inventory, manages vendor relations, and implements design improvements to mechanical and electrical systems; performs disassembly/reassembly, preventive maintenance, and testing of equipment; operates machine shop tooling (lathes, drill presses, grinders, end mills) and manufactures/replaces parts; requires electrical/mechanical aptitude, OSHA-related training exposure, and ability to meet physical demands.
Required Qualifications
- Associates degree (AA) or equivalent from a two-year college or technical school with five years industrial maintenance experience
- Capable of operating forklift and scissor lifts
- Certified Electrician a plus
