Job Summary
Conduct routine and ad-hoc inspections, preventative maintenance, and repair to offices, laboratories, technical areas, vehicles, and site infrastructure while responding to facilities, safety, security, and business-critical alarms. Act as the point of contact for service inquiries and technical issues, coordinating vendor performance and analyzing data to drive operational improvement. Prepare reports on facilities performance and compliance to advise management decisions, ensuring adherence to health, safety, and environmental standards. Share technical knowledge with colleagues to support the onboarding and training of new staff.
Required Qualifications
- High school diploma/GED
- 7 years of relevant experience
- Experience preferably in mechanical, electrical or related field
- Minimum of 4 years of experience within a GMP biopharmaceutical or pharmaceutical manufacturing environment
- Strong understanding of GMP regulations
- Knowledge of FDA guidelines
- Knowledge of industry best practices related to equipment maintenance and reliability
- Excellent communication skills
- Experience with computerized maintenance management systems (CMMS)
- Experience with maintenance-related documentation in a regulated environment
- Knowledge of safety and environmental regulations related to facility and equipment maintenance
- Knowledge of Microsoft Office Suite Programs
- Knowledge of Word
- Knowledge of Excel
- Knowledge of Outlook
- MD Class 5 Boilers License
- Ability to read P&ID's
- Ability to read Schematics
- Strong Understanding of Building Automation Systems
Desired Qualifications
- Associate degree in mechanical, electrical, industrial maintenance, engineering technology, facilities, or a related discipline
- Relevant Maryland state licences or certifications, where applicable
- OSHA 30 certification
- Experience with risk-based maintenance
- Experience with reliability-centred maintenance
- Experience with condition-based maintenance
- Experience with similar reliability programmes
- Familiarity with Lean Six Sigma
- Familiarity with other structured process improvement methodologies
- Experience supporting equipment projects
- Experience with contractor coordination
- Experience with financial or vendor management
- Experience with change management
- Experience with service improvement initiatives
