Job Summary
Lead Maintenance, Material Management (3M) and Logistics SME supporting Navy Readiness Assistance Training Team (RATT) for CNSP. Responsibilities include coordinating, scheduling, and conducting ship training visits to improve Sailor proficiency in operation and maintenance of ship systems; developing and curating training resources and curricula; teaching shipboard operating principles; conducting material condition assessments of installed and portable equipment; reviewing maintenance and operating procedures; advising leadership on crew proficiency and program efficacy. Primary work location is onsite in San Diego, CA with up to 35% travel, and requirement for an existing SECRET clearance. Proficient in Navy 3-M, QA processes, and multi-platform logistics databases; strong leadership, communication, and project-management skills.
Required Qualifications
- At least fifteen (15) years of supervisory experience in analyses, information system operations, and implementation of technical projects relevant to RATT
- At least fifteen (15) years of experience using and managing the Navy 3-M system
- Experience on multiple platforms as a Navy Command 3-M Coordinator (3-MC)
- Direct experience, within the last five years, using shipboard maintenance management and logistics databases currently in use by the U.S. Navy
- Fully versed in the procedures and requirements of repair and replacement part procurement
- Experience equivalent to a Navy Quality Assurance Officer (QAO) and fully knowledgeable regarding current Navy quality assurance processes
- Proficient with common productivity software including the Microsoft Office suite
- Ability to manage multiple tasks and support fast-paced operational environments
- Excellent personnel management skills
- Excellent communication skills

- U.S. citizenship required for security clearance
- Active SECRET security clearance required prior to hire
