Job Summary
As a Lead Mainframe Developer at DTCC, you will act as a technical expert within the IT CSS-WRAFT Delivery team, taking responsibility for hands-on leadership in mainframe core systems. Your primary responsibilities will include driving resiliency, performance, and change safety for the Fund/SERV platform. You will work closely with business analysts to ensure design requirements are met and tune application performance. Key skills required include expertise in COBOL, CICS, DB2, and JCL along with experience in batch job scheduling and maintaining high-quality development practices. You will also contribute to continuous integration and delivery while collaborating with infrastructure teams.
Required Qualifications
- Minimum of 6 years of related experience
- Bachelor's degree preferred and/or equivalent experience
- Knowledge in Designing and Developing sophisticated Online and Batch Mainframe Application with COBOL as programming language, CICS as TPM, DB2 as RDBMS
- Knowledge on MQ and DB2 Connect as interface to communicate with Distributed Web application
- Solid understanding in Batch jobs using JCL with Catalog procedures and files (PS/PDS/VSAM)
- Perform and maintain scheduling activities of Batch Schedules using CA-Scheduler
- Expertise in Application programming IDEs for Mainframe (IDZ)
- Solid understanding in Version control/Config. Management tools such as Changeman
- Expertise in reverse-engineering of Mainframe applications involving DB2 and CICS
Desired Qualifications
- Knowledge of Mutual Funds and Mutual Fund Services
