Job Summary
Address production issues, including equipment malfunctions, quality control problems, and safety concerns, to ensure minimal downtime and maintain efficiency. Lead changeovers and setup equipment for different product sizes while troubleshooting, adjusting, and performing minor repairs on mechanical equipment. Collaborate with the QA team to verify production standards and train new operators on equipment operation and adjustments. Prioritize safety initiatives and prepare machines for efficient use in a safe environment. This 12-hour night shift (2-2-3 schedule) role is based in Richmond, VA, for local candidates only.
Required Qualifications
- High School diploma or equivalent
- Demonstrated mechanical aptitude
- Proficiency in computer skills, especially with Microsoft Office
- Hands-on experience or strong knowledge of machine conversion processes
