Job Summary
Lead LPS responsible for guiding the Mobile Crisis Outreach Program in partnership with the 988 hotline, providing hands-on coaching, direction, and leadership to staff; oversees implementation of best practices aligned with agency treatment philosophy; offers administrative leadership, on-call coverage, and representation to external stakeholders; requires licensure (Psychiatric Technician or CADC II/III in CA) and LPS certification/eligibility, with supervisory experience and strong de-escalation, communication, and organizational skills; role involves crisis response, field supervision, and driving in crisis situations with frequent travel to various work sites.
Required Qualifications
- Licensed Psychiatric Technician or CADC II/III in the State of California
- 1 year of management experience preferred
- LPS certified or LPS eligible
- Post-licensure supervisory experience (1 year)
- Excellent consumer de-escalation skills
- Excellent written and oral communication skills
- Ability to manage conflict calmly
- Valid California driver’s license
- Acceptable driving record per agency policy
- Proof of auto insurance meeting minimum coverage requirements
- Physical presence in office during standard business hours
- Driving of company vehicles for crisis intervention is an essential function
