Job Summary
Coordinate layout and installation of fire alarms, CCTV, access control, and nurse call buttons while reading blueprints and schematics to ensure correct system function. Perform inspections to verify code compliance and pull wire through conduits per project specifications. Complete detailed inspection reports documenting any issues. Requires knowledge of NEC codes, Cat 5 and 6 wiring, and 5+ years of low voltage commercial and residential experience with 3+ years in fire alarm installation. Must possess strong troubleshooting skills, a valid driver's license, and PPE. Schedule includes on-call rotation.
Required Qualifications
- 5+ years experience in low voltage commercial and residential settings
- 3+ years experience of fire alarm installation
- Able to read blueprints, schematics
- Must possess strong troubleshooting skills
- Must have a valid drivers license and reliable transportation
- Must have PPE equipment
- Able to stoop, crawl, bend, kneel and lift heavy objects
- Must have knowledge of NEC codes
Desired Qualifications
