Job Summary
Lead the regional logistics team to design, analyze, and optimize logistics performance, rider payments, and incentive strategies across 17 diverse markets. Define the strategic roadmap for rider compensation, treating it as a critical operational lever to optimize fleet behavior, improve delivery times, and solve supply challenges while ensuring financial sustainability. Oversee the regional implementation of advanced data science models and automated tools, driving the testing and rollout of new pay components like dynamic pricing and surge models to enhance fleet efficiency. Partner with the Central Product team to translate business requirements into product requests and influence feature development. Act as the primary partner to Local Logistics Directors, Finance Leaders, and Product Managers to build strong relationships and translate complex data into actionable strategic recommendations. Manage the rider payment and incentive budget, continuously monitoring cost-per-order trends to drive cost-efficiency initiatives.
Required Qualifications
- 5+ years of professional experience in high-growth tech, logistics, strategy consulting, or investment banking
- Experience specifically in gig-economy, marketplace dynamics, or logistics
- Proven track record (1-2+ years) of managing direct reports or leading complex cross-functional project teams
- University degree in STEM, Economics, Business, or a related quantitative field
- Strong proficiency in SQL
- Strong proficiency in Excel
- Exceptional English communication skills, both written and spoken
- Comfortable effectively challenging the status quo
- Comfortable negotiating with senior stakeholders and leadership
Desired Qualifications
- Experience specifically in gig-economy, marketplace dynamics, or logistics is a strong plus
