Job Summary

Lead Localization Engineer for Spatial Intelligence on road-legal autonomous platforms. You will architect and advance SLAM for high-precision localization on mass-market hardware, drive HD map fusion and multi-sensor fusion across LiDAR, vision, odometry and IMU, ensure robustness in dynamic urban environments, and deploy on NVIDIA Orin. Collaborate with Perception and Planning/Control teams to deliver low-latency pose estimation and semantic maps, enabling scalable urban autonomous delivery. Requirements include a Master’s degree or above and 5+ years of SLAM R&D experience, with proficiency in multiple SLAM/toolchain technologies, C++/ROS 2, and GPU acceleration. Location-based on-site roles in Singapore and China with in-person remote options.

Required Qualifications

  • Master's degree or above in CS, Robotics, Automation, Geomatics, or related fields
  • 5+ years of SLAM R&D experience in robotics or autonomous driving; full-cycle experience in at least one mass-produced product
  • Proficiency in at least two of: LOAM/LIO-SAM, VINS/ORB-SLAM3, BA/Factor Graph optimization
  • Experience with high-performance C++
  • Linux/ROS 2
  • CUDA or TensorRT acceleration
  • Hybrid Fusion: LIO-VIO systems
  • GNSS/RTK + INS tight-coupling and HD Map-based localization
  • System architecture design and performance bottleneck resolution
  • AI tools and systems for efficiency

Desired Qualifications

  • Proficient in at least two of: LOAM/LIO-SAM, VINS/ORB-SLAM3, BA/Factor Graph optimization, semantic SLAM/dynamic SLAM, high-performance C++ on Linux/ROS 2, CUDA or TensorRT acceleration, LIO-VIO, GNSS/RTK + INS tight-coupling
  • Demonstrated expertise in state estimation integrity and safety-critical navigation
