Job Summary
Oversee daily operations and workflow management for the Laundry and Linen program, supervising team members and optimizing productivity to meet departmental objectives. Conduct professional washing and drying of all linen items, including terry, blankets, and bedspreads, while ensuring facility cleanliness and proper supply preparation. Sort, fold, label, and organize company-issued laundry items, receiving deliveries to verify order accuracy. Address team conflicts, foster open communication, and implement process enhancements to drive efficiency and quality outcomes. Observe and report any damage or hazards, maintaining open relationships with management and team members. Requires reliable transportation for frequent travel between worksites, flexibility for varying shifts, and the ability to lift up to 50 pounds.
Required Qualifications
- Reliable transportation required.
- Regular travel within the locally assigned market and / or region.
- Ability to move freely (balancing, climbing, crawling, driving, squatting, standing, stooping, walking, bending, pushing, pulling, reaching, and repetitive hand/finger motions) and lift up to a maximum of fifty (50) pounds without assistance.
- Must be dependable, self-motivated, and able to work independently while contributing positively to a collaborative team environment.
- Comfortable talking to people—online or in person—and being able to share information in a way's clear, thoughtful, and represents the company in a positive way always.
Desired Qualifications
- Experience working in hotel, hospitality, vacation or similar industry is highly preferred.
- 1 - 2 years experience in laundry and linen services is ideal, but similar experience is taken into consideration.
- Prior experience in supervisory or management level position in a similar industry.
- Tech-savvy with experience using various digital systems and applications and comfortable using mobile apps, tablets, and various software platforms.
