Job Summary
Lead Line Operator responsible for assisting the Production Supervisor in monitoring the extrusion process, equipment, and personnel to ensure safety, efficiency, and quality. Responsibilities include communicating standards for process time and settings, providing feedback to staff and the Extrusion Supervisor, performing ongoing checks of equipment and materials, monitoring extruder parameters (OEE%), maintaining a 5S-clean environment, troubleshooting production issues, running the production line as needed, training operators on equipment usage, and actively participating in plant activities and continuous improvement initiatives.
Required Qualifications
- At least 1 year of equipment/machine operating experience in a manufacturing environment
- Ability to speak, read and write English fluently
- Capable of wearing required PPE for entire shift
- Able to lift and carry, push/pull up to 50lbs multiple times per shift
