Job Summary
Lead Line Cook at Salted in Sunnyvale, CA. Lead the Kitchen team at our new location, ensuring high-quality food presentation, adherence to recipes and portion sizes, and smooth operation during service. Responsibilities include quality control, effective communication with the Hospitality Team, maintaining a safe and healthy work environment, onboarding and developing kitchen staff, inventory management and audits, assisting with budgeting and payroll processing, meeting financial and operational targets, catering order execution, and resolving customer service issues. Requires a solid foundation in culinary skills, leadership experience (1 year+), the ability to stand for long periods and lift up to 50 lbs, and a commitment to safety, sanitation, and consistent recipe execution.
Required Qualifications
- Minimum of 2 years of kitchen experience
- Minimum of 1 year of leadership experience
- Solid foundation in culinary skills, including knife/prep work, flat-top cooking, and more
- Ability to stand for extended periods and lift up to 50 lbs
