Job Summary
Oversee aquatic area safety by surveying pool activity, enforcing rules, and managing lifeguard staff. Maintain organized pool appearances, handle daily equipment setup and breakdown, and perform first aid treatments when necessary. Report safety or maintenance concerns immediately to the Clubhouse Manager and provide risk management for all aquatic areas. Serve as the primary point of contact for pool staff while attending required meetings and trainings. This seasonal role at Summit Club runs from April 5 to October 3, 2026, with a pay rate of $22 per hour.
Required Qualifications
- Current lifeguard certification
- Lifeguard Certification
- CPR, First Aid, AED Certification
- Ability to follow oral and written directions in English
- Ability to read, write, speak, and understand English
- Must be able to work flexible work hours/schedule including evenings, weekends, and holidays
- Ability to work in a team environment
- Ability to stay calm and focused during the busiest of times
- Ability to meet the physical demands of the position including, but not limited to, working indoors and outdoors in all weather conditions, standing, walking, and moving for periods of greater than eight (8) hours, and lifting and carrying items sometimes greater than fifty (50) pounds
