Job Summary
Lead Lifeguard responsible for supervising lifeguard staff, coordinating in-service training, monitoring the natatorium and ensuring safety per YMCA protocol, assisting the Aquatics Director, and maintaining a safe, engaging environment for members and staff. Requires active lifeguarding certifications (American Red Cross Lifeguarding, CPR/AED, First Aid, Bloodborne Pathogens, Administering Emergency Oxygen), as well as knowledge of customer service, and at least 6 months of aquatic programming experience; proficient in Microsoft Office.
Required Qualifications
- High school diploma or equivalent
- Current certifications in American Red Cross Lifeguarding, CPR/AED, First Aid, Bloodborne Pathogens, Administering Emergency Oxygen
- Six months of related experience in aquatic programming
- Knowledge of providing customer and personal services to members, delivering a quality experience
- Knowledge of Microsoft Office
