Job Summary
Assist the Aquatics Director in implementing company standards, best practices, and financial budgets while empowering employees through training and leadership. Deliver five-star service and maintain clean, safe Aquatics facilities across resort-style clubs in California, Texas, Colorado, Idaho, and Oregon. Ensure adherence to American Red Cross standards for teamwork, rescue, and surveillance, including CPR/First Aid/AED protocols for Professional Rescuers. Manage lifeguard scheduling and swim lesson coordination where applicable, requiring swimming proficiency and a minimum of two years in lifeguarding or swim instruction. Work full-time hours with a competitive hourly wage of $22.10–$24.55.
Required Qualifications
- Understands and can utilize American Red Cross standards of teamwork, rescue and surveillance
- Swimming proficiency
- Minimum 18 years of age
- American Red Cross Lifeguard Certification (includes CPR/First AID/AED for the Professional Rescuer)
- Have physical, visual, and auditory ability to perform essential functions of the job description
Desired Qualifications
- Minimum of 2-year lifeguarding preferred
- Minimum of 2-year swim instructor preferred
- Experience scheduling lifeguards and swim lessons preferred
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills
- Ability to work with minimal supervision
- Demonstrates good customer service skills, energetic, enthusiastic and motivational
- Lifeguard Instructor (LGI) Certification preferred
- High School diploma preferred
