Job Summary
Lead Learning Support Assistant at EFI Group, focusing on enabling learners with Learning Difficulties and/or Disabilities (SEND) to access the curriculum and achieve qualifications across FRA and LCBT. You will lead and supervise Learning Support Assistants, mentor and develop the team, collaborate with curriculum staff, and drive inclusion, resilience, and engagement in core subjects. The role emphasizes building independence, supporting learners with complex emotional needs, safeguarding, and promoting an inclusive learning culture while contributing to improved attainment in literacy and numeracy.
Required Qualifications
- Level 3 qualification (A Level or equivalent) and Maths and English GCSEs
- experience supporting young people with SEND in an educational setting
- experience supervising, mentoring or coordinating support staff in a learning environment
- understanding of safeguarding, wellbeing, equality and inclusion with FE context
