Lead Laboratory Medical Assistant - AHN Cancer Institute - Butler

Oversee training, onboarding, and performance reviews for newly hired medical assistants, students, and interns. Provide continuous education on clinical workflows, policies, and procedures while managing staff schedules to ensure adequate coverage. Serve as a clinical resource and EHR superuser, documenting patient interactions, updating medication lists, and reconciling problem histories per Meaningful Use standards. Prepare and room patients, obtain vital signs, and assist providers with examinations and prescription needs. Coordinate patient follow-ups, notify patients of test results, and mentor staff to promote positive interactions. Manage medical supply inventory and ensure treatment areas remain stocked.
