Job Summary

Direct employees to finish kitting and assembly while reporting to the Supervisor for the next assignment, ensuring kits are ready to run. Set up production lines to start cycles, obtain first-piece approval, and control machine settings as necessary. Produce required kits by placing products into kits, verifying quality, packaging on moving lines, and ensuring product protection. Monitor lines for optimum speed and quality, troubleshoot operational problems, and report issues. Update the SQDIP board, complete problem-solving tasks, and review work instructions for assembly requirements. Anticipate supplies, manage inventory levels, and notify the Supervisor of shortages. Perform maintenance on department equipment or facilitate preventative maintenance work. Track job costs and production hours, accurately complete load tags, and process mail in compliance with USPS regulations. Instruct, coach, and support personnel in performance while running small kits, providing training as needed. Work overtime as required and maintain a clean, clutter-free workplace to meet safety goals.

Required Qualifications

  • High school diploma or general education degree (GED)
  • four plus years of relevant industry experience
  • 520 hours as an Imagine temporary employee along with manager's approval to hire full-time
  • Ability to lift, push and pull up to 50 pounds
  • Ability to visually inspect all work for defects
  • Manual dexterity for repetitive work
  • Frequent standing for prolonged periods of time
  • Frequent reaching, bending, climbing, kneeling, crouching, and stooping
  • Ability to communicate/understand basic written and verbal instructions
  • Basic math skills including addition, subtraction, multiplication, division, and measurement
  • Basic computer skills including email, basic mouse, keyboard, and menu navigation
  • Willingness and ability to obtain high school diploma or GED within a reasonable time of being placed in the role if do not have High School Diploma or GED

Desired Qualifications

  • 1 plus years of experience working in printing, manufacturing, distribution, and/or fulfilment
  • 1 plus years of experience using BVM Shrink Wrapper, Tape Machines, Conveyors, Piece Scales, Poly Bagger, and Pallet Wrappers
  • Bilingual Spanish/English
