Job Summary
Lead IT Systems Engineer responsible for designing, implementing, and managing hybrid infrastructure across Azure Cloud and on-prem environments. Requires advanced expertise in cloud-native engineering and traditional systems, with a focus on automation, monitoring, performance optimization, and security compliance.
Required Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or related field
- 12 years of experience in IT infrastructure administration, with a focus on Azure Cloud; or 8 years of relevant experience and a Master’s degree in a related field
- 14+ years of relevant experience in IT infrastructure administration, with a focus on Azure and DevOps practices, and Microsoft-based on-premises servers and hosts
- Strong problem-solving abilities and the capacity to thrive in a fast-paced environment
- Excellent communication and collaboration skills, with a strong customer-centric mindset.
Desired Qualifications
- Proficiency in scripting languages such as Python, Bash, or PowerShell for automation
- Experience with containerization and orchestration tools (e.g., Docker, Kubernetes)
- Hands-on experience with configuration management tools like Microsoft System Center Configuration Manager (SCCM) or Microsoft Endpoint Configuration Manager (MECM)
- Relevant certifications (e.g., AWS Certified DevOps Engineer, Microsoft Certified: Azure DevOps Engineer Expert)
Additional Requirements
- Required to work onsite 3 days per week in Springfield, Ohio and/or Eaton, Ohio
