Lead IT Sourcing Specialist (Infrastructure)

Lead IT procurement and strategic indirect IT sourcing across GE Vernova’s IT Infrastructure category; own category spend and develop strategies to reduce total cost of ownership (TCO) while ensuring internal customer satisfaction. Partner with IT Sourcing leadership to set strategy, coordinate sourcing efforts and policy, and execute initiatives; collaborate with IT, Finance, Legal, Business Sourcing, Operations, Supply-Chain, Corporate, and other functions to drive TCO reduction while delivering excellent service levels. Oversee development and execution of sourcing strategies, market analysis, negotiation (RFXs), supplier selection and contract creation, and buy channel management. Monitor strategy implementation for benefit realization; drive value through supplier relationship management and industry-trend informed decision making. Develop expertise within the function, provide professional leadership, influence policy, and ensure delivery within the function while linking with other areas. Present business solutions to leaders, drive demand management and compliance for IT categories, work closely with IT Requisitioning, lead and manage a team of sourcing professionals, and serve as trusted advisor to multi-functional teams to implement strategic sourcing initiatives that meet business requirements and priorities. Maintain best practices; champion and secure TCO reductions; monitor implementation to ensure realized benefits.
