Job Summary
Lead IT Risk & Security for the CTO Finance & Risk organization, directing the local Risk & Security Operations team and aligning IT risk and security practices with ING’s risk appetite. Translate policies into scalable, pragmatic controls; steward SOx and key control testing; support ~1,200 DevOps engineers with risk & security guidance; drive remediation; improve ITSM processes; collaborate with senior stakeholders across CTO, Risk and CISO; coordinate with 2nd/3rd line (IRM, Audit); foster continuous improvement in risk & security ways of working. Strong leadership and communication to enable teams, with hands-on, proactive delivery and experience in DevOps/Agile environments. Bachelor and Master degree required; certifications such as CISM, CRISC, CISSP, or CISA preferred.
Required Qualifications
- Strong experience in IT Risk, Security and/or IT Control environments
- Solid understanding of SOx, IT controls and regulatory compliance
- Knowledge of IAM, security monitoring, change management, pen-testing, sourcing / 3rd party risk management, BIA/DRA processes and/or ITSM
- Able to manage multiple stakeholders and priorities
- Hands-on and pro-active attitude
- Able to explain complex matters in a simple way
- Strong analytical and communication skills
- Inspiring, pragmatic and results-driven leader
- Strong collaborator who enables others to succeed
- Experience with DevOps and Agile ways of working
- Focused on continuous improvement and impact
- Proven leadership experience and stakeholder management at senior level
- Experience within ING or similar complex environment

- Experience with project management cross teams – you need to be able to get things done in the F&R environment
- Bachelor and Master degree
