Job Summary
Oversee contract management activities for all IT procurement to ensure timely execution with internal and external teams. Provide oversight and project management while making acquisitions of products, services, and technical staff in accordance with state laws and Information Technology Services procurement guidelines. Research, evaluate, and acquire products based on agency needs by creating Requests for Proposals and other solicitations following established guidelines. Review and score proposals, bids, and quotes to analyze information and determine the best products and services for the Agency's needs. Partner with ITS to obtain oversight and leadership on various IT projects while communicating with both the internal user community and external vendor communities.
Required Qualifications
- Experience in gathering, documenting and communicating business requirements and/or user stories - 10+
- Defining and documenting business requirements, user stories, processes and workflows - 10+
- Experience with organizing project teams and work plans for multiple projects -10+
- Experience as a business analyst and/or project manager -10+
- Experience working in State Government-10+
- Experience creating solicitations to acquire IT software and services -10+
- 100% Onsite required
- willing to relocate

- Certified Mississippi Purchasing Agent Certification-CMPA
