Lead IT Business Analyst (Agile)

Job Summary
Lead business analysts, mentor teams, and collaborate with government officials to gather requirements and identify automation opportunities. Perform gap analysis, prioritize backlogs, and create documentation including BRDs, use cases, and functional specifications. Act as a liaison between stakeholders and technical teams, coordinate software customizations, and lead User Acceptance Testing. Execute unit and integration tests on custom developments. This role requires 8+ years of experience in large-scale EU or public sector projects, with knowledge of RDBMS and SQL. Candidates must demonstrate proficiency in Agile methodologies, BPMN, and Business Rules Management. Based in Athens, this position offers a hybrid working model and unlimited access to Udemy for Business.
Required Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Information Technology, or related field
- 8+ years of experience as a Business Analyst, preferably in large-scale software implementation projects within EU or public sector
- Proven ability to gather, document, and translate complex business requirements into actionable technical specifications
- Knowledge of RDBMS concepts and SQL experience (Oracle or PostgreSQL)
- Strong analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills
- Ability to work effectively with cross-functional teams and stakeholders
- Experience with Agile methodologies, BPMN, and Business Rules Management
