Job Summary
Monitor open orders and fast-track rush orders while ensuring daily throughput KPIs are met. Provide direction for store personnel, coordinate kitting resources to achieve outbound DIFOT, and act as the first escalation point for kitting issues. Liaise with production assembly team leads, other Rocket Lab sites, and logistics teams to ensure timely delivery of components and production kits. Maintain stock point accuracy, manage FIFO rotation, and investigate discrepancies against LN records. Uphold compliance with the RL document management system, SOPs, and health and safety policies, including proper PPE usage and incident reporting. Drive continuous improvements across the team and maintain a tidy warehouse in accordance with 5S principles.
Required Qualifications
- 6+ years of Inventory / Supply Chain experience
- High School Diploma
- Exposure to international shipping regulations, including International Traffic in Arms Regulations (ITAR)
- International Air Transportation Association, (IATA) / International Maritime Dangerous Good (IMDG) knowledge
- Strong IT knowledge, comfortable working with Windows
- Experience working with a fully integrated Enterprise Resource Planning system
- U.S. citizen, lawful U.S. permanent resident (i.e., current Green Card holder), or lawfully admitted into the U.S. as a refugee or granted asylum, or be eligible to obtain the required authorizations from the U.S. Department of State and/or the U.S. Department of Commerce
Desired Qualifications
- Associate's Degree, Bachelor's Degree, or High school diploma
- Proven experience in managing 3-6 direct reports
- Experience in aerospace, automotive, or other heavy manufacturing
- Prior experience in high-paced, rapid growth environment
- A can-do attitude, open to learning with good organizational skills
- Excellent communication skills and able to build working relationships
