Job Summary
Perform and supervise modality daily operations while providing leadership for the assigned area, balancing 70 percent patient care with 30 percent supervisory functions. Promote imaging services by staying abreast of the latest technology changes and ensuring accreditation standards are maintained. Operate interventional equipment and other devices as appropriate, applying critical problem-solving and prioritization skills to support exceptional patient outcomes. Maintain R, VI, or CI certification and lead personnel within the diverse teams at Piedmont Augusta Hospital.
Required Qualifications
- Graduate of an AMA approved Radiologic Technology program or JRCERT accredited hospital-based training program
- 3-years of technical experience
- Registered by the American Registry of Radiological Technologists (R)
- Registered Vascular-Interventional Radiographer (VI) or Cardiac-Interventional Radiographer (CI)
- BLS Certified
- Evidence of leadership
