Job Summary
Lead Intervention Specialist responsible for shift leadership on 211 crisis line, crisis intervention counseling via multiple channels (phone, email, chat, text, in-person), information/referral services, and care coordination for victims of crime; requires strong teamwork, oversight, quality assurance activities, and ability to train and develop staff while ensuring safety and crisis response readiness.
Required Qualifications
- Associate’s degree in a human services-related field
- One year experience in crisis intervention may be substituted in lieu of degree
- Knowledge of Windows-based computer systems
- Verbal and written communication ability
- Proven leadership skills
- Complete requirements for Certified Crisis Worker or Victim’s Service Practitioner within 18 months of employment
