Job Summary
Read blueprints and select required insulation materials like fiberglass, foam rubber, or urethane based on surface specifications. Apply adhesives, measure, cut, and fit insulation to exposed structures such as pipes, tanks, and boilers using handsaws, knives, or scissors. Cover and seal insulation with plastic covers, canvas strips, or tape to secure it according to blueprint requirements. Work at heights and in industrial environments while maintaining safety standards. This role is part of Austin Industrial's premier self-perform maintenance and construction services for leading industrial companies across the U.S.
Required Qualifications
- Applicants must be legally authorized to work for ANY employer in the United States
- Valid TWIC Card
- Driver's License
- Must be able to sit
- Must be able to use hands to finger, handle, or feel and reach with hands and arms
- Must be able to stand

Desired Qualifications
- 4 years of experience in Insulator is preferred
