Job Summary
The Lead Installer for Champion Windows is responsible for leading the installation process of patio room structures, ensuring compliance with engineering specifications and regulatory codes. Responsibilities include reviewing project details, directing helpers, coordinating the procurement of glass and other materials, and interacting professionally with customers. The role requires 3-5 years of construction experience, skilled labor expertise, a high school diploma or GED, and proficiency in using various hand tools. Additionally, candidates should maintain a clean driving record.
Required Qualifications
- 3-5 years prior experience in construction and skilled labor involving carpentry, roofing, window installation
- High School diploma or GED
- Experience in the use of a brake and other hand tools such as a utility knife, hammer, deglazing tools
- Clean driving record
- Basic arithmetic abilities including using a tape measure and calculating percentages and angles
- Excellent oral and written communication skills
- Certified in lead standard
Desired Qualifications
- Associate’s degree or trade school experience in construction or related field
