Job Summary
Receiving Inspection Lead responsible for scheduling priorities, reviewing documentation for specification compliance, inspecting materials at receipt, and ensuring conformance to customer flow-down specifications; emphasizes documentation of inspections, handling nonconformance reports, and adherence to ISO and QA practices while operating in a largely document-driven, production-facing environment.
Required Qualifications
- Must be a U.S. citizen or permanent resident of the United States (ITAR restrictions)
- Must be at least 18 years of age to work at this facility
- Must be eligible to possess explosives under the Safe Explosives Act of 2003 (as amended) as required by the Bureau of Alcohol, Tobacco, Firearms and Explosives (ATF) for all employees of Tech Ord
- High School diploma or GED is required
- Background in quality assurance process and/or production environment is preferred
- Familiarity with common measuring instruments as well as conventional and geometric tolerance is preferred
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office applications including Excel and Word; ability to learn and become proficient in our internal computer programs and applications
- Ability to identify and prioritize workload as well as work independently to accomplish tasks using time management skills with minimal supervision
- Understanding of ISO requirements is preferred
- Ability to communicate and document effectively in English
- Ability to work effectively with other employees as part of a team as well as ability to work independently to accomplish tasks using time management skills with minimal supervision
- Excellent organizational skills
