Job Summary
Lead Infrastructure Solutions Engineer responsible for designing and maintaining VMware infrastructure architecture (VMware Cloud Foundation), installing, configuring, and managing VMware environments, and managing HPE Synergy Blade servers with HPE OneView. Role includes implementing security best practices, defining backup and recovery practices, and using Aria automation tools and Terraform to streamline tasks. Collaborates with network, storage, and application teams to ensure a reliable, scalable virtual infrastructure and maintains comprehensive documentation of designs, configurations, and operational procedures. Keeps current with VMware technologies and Aria automation to propose innovative solutions for future demand.
Required Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in computer science, engineering, or related field, or equivalent work experience
- Experience with DevOps tools and methodologies (CI/CD, Git, Jenkins, Ansible)
- Proven Unix and Windows system administration experience
- Experience with automation tools and Infrastructure as Code (Terraform)
- Strong knowledge of networking concepts and protocols
