Job Summary
Lead, Infrastructure Security Engineer - Workforce Identity Management role focused on securing an identity and access management platform within Prudential. Responsible for ensuring compliance with Information Security Standards, integrating security features into the product lifecycle, coordinating patches and upgrades, and hardening identity management platforms. Collaborates with Information Security Office and other engineering teams, mentors peers, and applies knowledge of AD/ADFS, Azure/Entra ID, and IAM best practices to maintain a secure, highly available environment. Requires extensive experience with on-premises identity technologies, regulatory audits, scripting/automation, and strong communication and leadership capabilities. Location-based on Newark, NJ with on-site expectations; salary range $133,600.00 – $220,400.00 annually, plus comprehensive benefits.
Required Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in computer science or related field or equivalent experience
- 10+ years focused on IAM technology
- 6+ years in information technology/Cybersecurity
- Active Directory (AD) and AD FS maintenance
- Active Directory Domain Services troubleshooting and management
- ADFS troubleshooting and management
- Powershell scripting and automation
- Azure/Entra ID knowledge
- Experience with PCI/SOX/Fed regulatory requirements
- Strong problem solving and communication skills
- Ability to mentor others
- Experience with Agile development methodologies
- Ability to write clear documentation (Confluence)
- Hyper-V, SCCM/SCVMM/SCORH/SCOM, Splunk, Service Now (preferred)
- Ability to work after hours on-call rotations
