Job Summary
Lead Infrastructure Engineer- Networking responsible for building, deploying, migrating, and operating the network perimeter DMZ switching and routing environment; supporting and troubleshooting DMZ networks; deploying scripts for paving/repave and day-to-day automation; upgrading DMZ switches/routers; service delivery troubleshooting with T3 and vendor management; cross-team collaboration. Requires expertise in DMZ architecture, Cisco data center fabric, BGP/OSPF/EIGRP/VRF/TCP/IP, and ISP routing; programming/scripting/DevOps skills (Python, Ansible, Terraform, JSON); CI/CD tooling (Jenkins), APIs; familiarity with micro-services, Agile methodologies, and network security technologies (firewall, proxy, load balancer); CCIE is a plus; BS/BA degree or equivalent experience; strong communication, leadership, and collaborative abilities within a large enterprise.
Required Qualifications
- 5+ years of network engineering and implementation experience within a large enterprise environment
- In-depth knowledge and experience on DMZ architecture and Cisco datacenter fabric
- In-depth knowledge and experience on BGP, OSFP, EIGRP, VRF, TCP/IP, ISP routing
- Software development experience in one or more general purpose programming/scripting/DevOps languages: Python, Ansible, Terraform, JSON
- Understanding of micro-services, CI/CD pipelines such as Jenkins, APIs
- CCIE is a plus
- BS/BA degree or equivalent experience
- Experience with network security technologies such as firewall, proxy, and load balancer
- Experience with internet services traverse thru the DMZ
- Experience working with Agile methodologies like Kanban & Scrum
- Self-Starter who can take initiative and has the ability to work independently and collaboratively
- Organized and able to follow JPMC processes designed to minimize risk to the environment
- Must have good communication skills
- Strong critical thinking and problem solving skills with clear communication
- Strong work ethic with a results oriented mindset
- Ability to collaborate with different roles and different levels across different teams to achieve common goals
- Demonstrated leadership and collaboration skills in a large enterprise environment
