Job Summary
Lead Infrastructure Engineer-Capacity Management responsible for analyzing capacity and performance data across infrastructure and applications, designing and maintaining capacity forecasting models, delivering automation across capacity management, and presenting modeling recommendations to technical and non-technical audiences; requires formal training or certification in infrastructure engineering, 5+ years of experience, and expertise in Kubernetes, PCF, data analysis/visualization tools, monitoring/observability platforms, statistical techniques, programming in Java or Python, and time-series modeling (ARIMA/Prophet).
Required Qualifications
- Formal training or certification in infrastructure engineering concepts
- 5+ years applied experience
- Expertise in infrastructure operations including virtual servers, Kubernetes, and Pivotal Cloud Foundry (PCF)
- Experience in data analysis, reporting, and visualization (Excel, Tableau, Grafana)
- Experience in capacity management and designing/implementing capacity models to forecast resource needs
- Experience using monitoring/observability tools (e.g., BMC Truesight, Dynatrace, AppDynamics)
- Knowledge of statistical techniques to analyze data
- Experience coding in Java or Python
- Experience developing time series models (ARIMA, Prophet) to forecast trends
