Job Summary
Lead documentation strategy, planning, and execution across multiple product areas to improve consistency and delivery. Partner with Product Management, Engineering, UX, Support, and other stakeholders to align documentation with product and business goals. Drive documentation standards, governance, content architecture, and reusable content strategies while mentoring Information Developers. Champion adoption of Generative AI, automation, and modern documentation technologies to enhance content quality and productivity. Create and optimize content for human consumption and AI-driven experiences, applying SEO, GEO, and AEO best practices. Define documentation KPIs and establish dashboards to measure content effectiveness, discoverability, engagement, and business impact, using analytics and customer feedback to drive continuous improvement.
Required Qualifications
- 12+ years of experience in Technical Writing, Information Development, or Technical Communication
- experience in leadership of documentation initiatives
- strong experience in enterprise software, SaaS, cloud, API, or cybersecurity products
- Strong expertise in technical writing
- Strong expertise in information architecture
- Strong expertise in content strategy
- Strong expertise in structured authoring
- Hands-on experience with Generative AI
