Job Summary
Ensure a clean, friendly, and welcoming environment while implementing proprietary curriculum for infants and toddlers. Maintain the health and safety of children in your care and communicate effectively with parents. Build relationships with children, parents, and co-workers within a team-oriented setting. Prepare, complete, and maintain administrative forms and records as required by governmental regulations and company policies. Light cleaning and classroom maintenance are also part of daily duties. This Full-Time role requires Monday through Friday availability.
Required Qualifications
- Minimum of an Associate's degree in Early Childhood Education or related field, or CDA with New York State requirements
- 1-5 years of childcare experience
- Satisfy the mandatory physical and background checks as required by state and company regulations
- CPR
- Be of sufficient physical, mental, and emotional health to perform job duties satisfactorily
- Possess skills, attributes, and characteristics conducive to and suitable for dealing with children
- Must speak English well enough to communicate with children, staff, management, and parents
- Must be a team player and have a positive attitude
- Must be able to read and write English well enough to prepare, complete, and maintain administrative forms and records as required by current governmental regulations, company policies, and procedures
- Knowledge of child growth and development
- Willing to attend staff/parent events and complete training classes as required by state regulations
- Must be aware of and comply with state regulations as well as TLE policies
- Must be available Full-Time, Monday through Friday
