Job Summary
Lead Infant/Toddler Teacher responsible for overseeing a safe, developmentally appropriate classroom for infants and toddlers (birth to three), planning and implementing developmentally aligned activities using RC3, guiding curriculum development and child assessments, documenting progress, conducting conferences and home visits with families, and providing indirect supervision to classroom staff while ensuring routines, safety, and sanitation standards meet program and licensing requirements. Requires CDA credential or Associate’s Degree in child development or related field, and one year of relevant experience, with strong communication and alignment to the organization’s mission. Collaborative, accountable for high-quality programming per Head Start Performance Standards and NAEYC criteria.
Required Qualifications
- CDA credential or Associate’s Degree in child development or a related field
- One-year experience working with young children ages birth to three
- Knowledge of early childhood development
