Job Summary
Lead daily routines for infants ages 6 weeks to 12 months; provide attentive care including feeding, diapering, and nap supervision; plan and implement developmentally appropriate sensory learning activities; maintain a safe, organized classroom environment; support assistant teachers and maintain classroom structure; observe and document developmental milestones; communicate regularly with families regarding routines and progress; ensure compliance with Massachusetts EEC licensing requirements; Massachusetts EEC Infant Teacher certification is required. The role focuses on guiding the infant classroom and fostering secure relationships and early communication development.
Required Qualifications
- Massachusetts EEC Infant Teacher certification required
- Prior infant classroom experience strongly preferred
- Experience leading or supporting an infant classroom preferred
- Strong understanding of infant development and responsive caregiving practices
- Reliable, collaborative, and nurturing teaching approach
