Job Summary
Coordinate daily operations of assigned infant classes by planning, presenting, and evaluating educational and recreational activities in a safe environment. Observe children's interests to develop creative curriculum ideas while engaging directly with students and parents daily through mobile apps and personal discussions. Communicate effectively with faculty members to address stressful situations professionally and maintain smooth school operations. Lift up to 50 lbs. for child safety and emergency situations, including properly lifting infants into and out of cribs. Work in a supportive team with full resource planning time provided by directors.
Required Qualifications
- Has successfully completed state-required pre-service training
- Must be able to lift up to 50 lbs. in connection with the handling of children for the facilitation of programs, child safety, and potential emergency situations
- For Infant and Young Toddler Teachers, must be able to properly lift infants into and out of a crib
- Meets background check eligibility
Desired Qualifications
- Associate or Bachelor of Arts in Early Childhood Education or related field preferred
- Child Development Associate (CDA) preferred
- 1-2 years of previous experience preferred
