Job Summary
Observe each child to understand and support their physical, emotional, and cognitive development while respecting their natural rhythms for sleeping, eating, and toileting. Prepare and maintain a Montessori environment with child-sized furniture, natural elements, and open floor space to foster trust, movement, and exploration. Support independence by encouraging children to participate in care activities and build warm relationships with families to partner on each child's growth. Lead and collaborate with classroom team members to create a strong, respectful community in a mixed-age setting (ages 0–3). This role requires fully sponsored Montessori certification or prior diploma, ECE credits, and a 2-year child development program.
Required Qualifications
- Interest in pursuing fully sponsored Montessori certification through our Prepared Montessorian Institute, or prior Montessori diploma
- Experience working with children ages 0–3 in a daycare, childcare, nursery, or group care setting
- Alignment with child-led educational philosophies (Montessori, Reggio Emilia, or similar)
- Required ECE or Child Development credits
- Enrolled or have completed a 2-year Child Development or Early Childhood Education college program
