Job Summary
Architect and execute seamless inbound product flow from local ports to regional fulfillment hubs, coordinating operational handovers with customs brokers and third-party logistics providers. Drive in-country execution of regional inbound transportation strategies while monitoring delivery pipelines to identify delays and communicate mitigation plans to local business. Own the weekly inbound forecasting process to optimize labor and capacity planning, and act as the go-to internal consultant providing critical local market insights and regulatory expertise. Support the implementation of Customs & Trade-led programs, including onboarding new transport partners and maintaining local trade certifications. Resolve high-impact logistical bottlenecks autonomously and escalate customs-related risks to the global team.
Required Qualifications
- 6+ years of functional experience in international logistics, inbound transportation, or customs coordination within a fast-paced retail, apparel, or consumer goods operating environment
- Proven track record of managing complex port-to-warehouse supply chain pipelines and optimizing third-party logistics providers to drive measurable operational efficiencies
- Deep knowledge of Mexican import processes, broker operations, and local transportation dynamics
