Job Summary
Structure and execute the inbound product flow from local ports to regional distribution centers, synchronizing operations between global logistics networks, local customs brokers, and third-party operators. Coordinate daily transfers with customs brokers under Customs & Trade governance, monitor transport and delivery flows to identify delays, and escalate aduaneira issues or high-impact bottlenecks to the global team. Lead local execution of regional transportation strategies, manage weekly import volume forecasts to optimize 3PL labor planning, and support the integration of new logistics service providers. Provide critical market insights and regulatory expertise to regional and global teams while ensuring local logistics teams adhere to established customs processes and documentation standards.
Required Qualifications
- More than 6 years of functional experience in international logistics, import product transportation, or customs coordination in dynamic retail, apparel, or consumer goods environments
- Proven history in managing complex logistics chains between ports and warehouses, as well as optimizing third-party logistics operators, generating measurable operational efficiency gains
- Deep knowledge of Brazilian import processes, customs broker operations, and local transportation dynamics, enabling assertive decision-making even in the face of regulatory ambiguities
- Ability to build collaborative relationships with diverse stakeholders in regional and global matrix environments, aligning priorities and resolving bottlenecks
- Motivation to learn and challenge existing supply chain processes, using data-based analysis to develop structured business cases aimed at cost reduction
- Open-minded approach to constantly changing supply chain environments, abandoning pre-established paths to handle unexpected logistical interruptions creatively and efficiently while observing applicable local legislation
