Job Summary
Lead the In-Room Dining (IRD) department at Southall Farm and Inn by overseeing daily operations, scheduling and supervising staff, training employees on procedures and service standards, monitoring inventory and ordering supplies, coordinating with the kitchen and other departments to ensure timely delivery of orders, resolving guest issues, ensuring health and safety compliance, and implementing strategies to maximize department efficiency and profitability. Responsibilities include conducting staff meetings, assisting in menu item development and promotions, and maintaining high levels of guest satisfaction through excellent service and communication.
Required Qualifications
- 2+ years of supervisory experience in the hospitality industry
- Active Tennessee Alcoholic Beverage Commission certification
- Strong knowledge of food and beverage operations
- Excellent communication and customer service skills
- Ability to multitask and work in a fast-paced environment
- Knowledge of inventory management and cost control practices
- High school diploma or equivalent; relevant certifications a plus
