Job Summary
Lead Implementation Specialist role responsible for full-cycle implementations of Baytek’s LIMS/QC solutions for refinery and chemical manufacturing clients. You’ll configure lab workflows (unit tracking, QC testing, compliance requirements), lead customer deployments, train diverse lab teams, and ensure regulatory and business requirements are met. The position blends lab subject matter expertise with process improvement, technical troubleshooting, and customer-facing leadership. Travel 25–50% across North America to support deployments and adoption, mentor junior staff, and provide documentation and knowledge transfer materials. Key requirements include hands-on lab experience (preferred), ASTM-aligned testing practices, instrument maintenance/calibration, quality-system know-how, and strong communication/training skills; SQL and Excel familiarity are a plus.
Required Qualifications
- 5+ years of refinery, petrochemical, or industrial laboratory experience (hands-on lab operations strongly preferred)
- Demonstrated knowledge of ASTM-aligned lab testing practices
- Instrument maintenance and calibration
- Quality systems, compliance, and audit readiness (EPA/OSHA familiarity preferred)
- Experience with LIMS administration or implementation
- Strong communication and training skills
- Ability to mentor junior team members
- Willingness to travel 25–50% across North America
