Job Summary
Implement identified software components using design documentation and functional specifications while ensuring they are unit-tested and ready for integration. Architect solutions, test code, and deploy CI/CD pipelines for developed features. Provide work estimates for assigned development tasks and guide functional objectives or technologies for interested parties. Resolve software distribution issues, load entitlements, and normalize new software products within the ITAM/SAM Pro application. This role requires at least seven years of experience in ITAM/SAM Pro development, including ServiceNow certification and expertise in Java, Python, or .Net. Candidates must demonstrate knowledge of microservices, Docker, Kubernetes, and relational or NoSQL databases.
Required Qualifications
- Min 7 years of experience in ITAM/SAM Pro Development
- ServiceNow certified professional (at-least one ITOM/CMD/ITAM)
- Excellent coding skills and solid development experience (Java, Python, .Net etc) with debugging and problem-solving skills
- Software development methodologies, with demonstrated experience developing scalable and robust software
- Experienced in relational and NoSQL databases, data mapping, XML/JSON, Rest based web services
- Knowledge of architecture design - Microservices architecture, containers (Docker & k8s), messaging queues
- Deep understanding of OOP and Design patterns
- Deep knowledge in ITOM/CMDB/Service Mapping
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, related technical field, or equivalent practical experience
- Certification in one or more of the hyperscalers (Azure, AWS, and Google GCP)
- Experience with DevOps tools and modern engineering practices
