Job Summary
Conduct shipping and receiving operations, including unloading products, verifying counts and lot numbers, and moving inventory to pick locations. Manage warehouse personnel, ensure compliance with safety policies, and perform inventory cycle counts. Operate Warehouse Material Handling Equipment safely, conducting pre-operational checks and maintaining batteries while adhering to OSHA guidelines and FIFO order picking protocols. Maintain dock, freezer, grounds, and parking lot cleanliness, ensuring trucks are properly chocked before loading or unloading. Report unsafe conditions, suspicious activities, and accidents immediately to supervisors. Adhere strictly to corporate GMPs, allergen control programs, and HACCP plans for food safety. Work a 1st shift from 8am to 5:30pm with potential weekend overtime, operating in cold environments (0-32 degrees F) while lifting up to 100 pounds.
Required Qualifications
- Bilingual Spanish speaker
- Must be trained and pass licensing for Warehouse Material Handling Equipment
- Must operate all equipment safely, following OSHA mandated guidelines
- Must be able to lift and/or move up to 100 pounds, using safe lifting techniques
- Must be able to lift 50 lbs
