Job Summary
Lead I C++ Software Engineer to join the Canberra development team. You will spend around 50% of your time managing the engineering team and 50% coding, collaborating with a global team on core technologies and real-time systems using C++. Emphasis on object-oriented design, debugging, multithreaded programming, and effective communication. Requires at least 5 years C++ experience and 3 years in technical leadership, with a relevant tertiary qualification; Agile experience and performance-review involvement are highly regarded. Hybrid work arrangement in Canberra with full-time employment.
Required Qualifications
- At least 5 years of industry experience in C++ development.
- At least 3 years of technical management or lead experience.
- Good debugging skills.
- Strong understanding of object-oriented design principles.
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
- Experience contributing to employee performance review processes.
- Relevant tertiary qualification.
