Job Summary
Lead Dental Hygienist in Manhattan leads the hygiene team within Tend’s Team (Assisted) Hygiene model, mentoring hygienists and assistants, overseeing onboarding and development, driving hygiene production, and collaborating with dentists to plan exams and treatments. Delivers comprehensive preventive and periodontal care (prophylaxis, SRP, periodontal maintenance, sealants, fluoride, iTero, Zoom whitening, Perio Protect, Curodont), coaches staff to uphold Tend’s clinical standards, leads team meetings and continuing education, and fosters a patient-first, high-performance culture while partnering with studio managers and doctors to meet care and business objective. The role includes displaying leadership, coaching, and operational optimization to maximize efficiency and patient care quality.
Required Qualifications
- Degree from an accredited dental hygiene program
- Current, active hygiene license in the state you’re applying for
- Current Anesthesia/Nitrous license in applicable state
- Current CPR/BLS certification
