Job Summary
Respond to residential HVAC service calls, diagnose and repair heating, cooling, and ventilation systems, and perform preventative maintenance tune-ups. Educate homeowners on system operation, identify repair versus replacement opportunities, and communicate these findings clearly. Generate qualified leads for the installation team and promote maintenance membership programs to drive revenue growth. Maintain accurate service records and invoices while keeping the company vehicle stocked and organized. Deliver a five-star customer experience during every visit and respond to emergency calls as needed.
Required Qualifications
- 4–5+ years of experience as a Lead HVAC Service Technician
- Experience independently managing a service truck and daily route
- Strong diagnostic and troubleshooting skills on residential HVAC equipment
- EPA Certification required
- Valid driver's license with a clean driving record
- Excellent communication and customer service skills
- Professional appearance and ability to build trust with homeowners
- Ability to identify repair versus replacement opportunities ethically and confidently
- Comfortable discussing memberships, system upgrades, and replacement options with customers
- Ability to work independently with minimal supervision
Desired Qualifications
- NATE Certification (preferred but not required)
- Experience with ServiceTitan or similar field service software
- Experience with high-efficiency HVAC systems and heat pumps
- Sales aptitude with a customer-first approach
