Lead HVAC Service Technician

Job Summary
Diagnose and troubleshoot commercial HVAC systems, pumps, motors, and air handlers while performing preventive maintenance on building mechanical systems. Execute basic plumbing and electrical repairs in compliance with codes, manage work orders through computerized maintenance management systems, and identify energy-saving opportunities. Travel to various commercial properties within a specified region to maintain facilities in peak operational condition, working independently with minimal supervision. Requires a valid state driver's license, five years of technical experience, EPA 608 certification, and ability to lift up to 50 pounds.
Required Qualifications
- Valid state driver's license
- Minimum 5 years of technical experience in all aspects of building engineering
- Strong background in packaged HVAC, plumbing, and electrical equipment repair
- High school diploma or GED
- Universal EPA 608 Certification
- Proficiency with Microsoft Office Suite and web-based applications
- Capability to lift up to 50 pounds frequently and occasionally up to 100 pounds
- Comfort working at heights up to 30 feet on ladders
- Must be authorized to work in the United States without sponsorship
Desired Qualifications
- Knowledge of overall MEP/HVAC system design and application
- Experience managing work orders using CMMS technology
- Previous service-related role experience specific to commercial facilities
